but as you can see, i've been pretty busy -- trngs, bbq, chalet and more. which means i have very jialat skin due to the late nights. and now that i have not much time left for my sch stuff plus preparing presents. econs proj, i guess if she could do so, yz would have killed me, like drown me in poison and stab me a few times.
back to basics, i've just slept 11 1/2 hrs last night and more accumulated yesterday, hoping to regain the brightness on my face. it's been like eons ago since i last slept at 1030pm. i need to get back to the routine of sleeping regularly, baby saw me the day before and said i looked tired and it could be due to my menses too, he added tt i looked pale. i want back the days when make up was never needed and i look good!
dear santa, all i want for x'mas ain't any expensive gifts but a good complexion plus glowing skin without makeup will do! guess i look better tanner, i shall go tan myself soon!
met up with alex, fy, baox and clar abt 2 wks before.
it's been sooooo long since i last saw alex and i thought he'd have a super strong english accent since he has been overseas for a period of time. everything went well, the 4 of us had dinner at waruku@heeren before meeting up with alex and chilling at alleybar. alleybar was alright, drinks were screwed(magarita with SUGAR at the rim?! martini tasted more like medicine, eww) but the atmosphere was a good place for us to chat the night away, maybe everyone rather crowd at acidbar which was just next door. i wanna go acidbar someday!
the bowl was HUGGGGEEE! the portion was little at first sight, but till i finish everything, was SUPER full!
we went to clara's farewell chalet 2 sundays before.
the bbq food were great and while the juniors went out for a movie, joey, clar, baox and me sat in the chalet watcing "love actually", had chips & B&J's ice-cream plus baileys! oh tt's heaven. talked in bed and we fell aslp. had cheesecake plus finished the ice-cream for breakfast, it was TOTALLY SINFUL. sin sin sin.
the next huge event was social night.
we've been talking about it for weeks! now it has come and gone, well, it was fun and quite an experience for me cause it's the first time for me going for such an event. where everyone was so well dressed. men in blazers were the norm, women there all looked so dressed up too! baby and i were nearly late cause he left house late and in total, our cab fare there was 50bucks! from jurong to hougang to fort canning, the uncle must be really happy. i was so nervous at first with no one i know in the room except baby, but the atmosphere got better with the games on going, food and more laughing at the table.
the game which i guessed was the ice-breaker, asking everyone to contribute something into the "santa-bag", and one of the item was 2 white hair! HAHA, they all attacked the same person. it was funny! didn't manage to take more photos cause it was rude and unglam, there were photographers around too. the highlight would have to be the couple game on stage, super funny when you see them getting ans all wrong! tsek agh to laugh at them but we laughed real hard, lol.
baby said my dark eyeshadow looked weird, maybe he wasn't use to it or maybe i didn't knw how to put it on): those girls there were really small size and i feel super fat, like they're so skinny yet they're still wearing black! grrrrr.
someone won 4th prize in the lucky draw! tommy hillfilger cologne set worth $70! the thing that he bought a kenzo one himself, using the vouchers we got last time just that afternoon before the event. in the end, he decided to give the prize to his dad.
baby wanted to cab back but i suggested taking the mrt instead.
i couldn't imagine how much he's gonna spend on cab fare again, it's scary okay! and that taking the train home isn't that bad too ah, we get to spent more time tgt! the only thing that baby has got to book in the next morning at 730am, like -.-
the event ended at about 1040pm, we had meepok at the 24hrs kopitiam tt was around my house, i got home at 1am which means he got home much later and he still gotta book in so early! tian ah!
when i got home, i thought i should have let my hair down for the event!
got to tampines ikea with hq before thurs trng@tp cause she wanted to get new furniture. we shopped at giant before and had our lunch at ikea! i promised i'd go there with baby the coming weekend, it was so fun!
soon it was zh annual basketball bbq, just last friday.
so many people weren't there, it was boring. the years in zh, we were all so excited cause we were the ones preparing it, last year it was fun ause it was kinda a last gathering before we head off to diff jcs. and this yr, who goes home form a bbq at 9.30pm! )): the thing i was happy about, i got to see my juniors!(: and some said they do view my blogO.o ooooh my. i didn't knw lah, tagg leh! HAHA.
weekend was spent waking up early, going on a thrift.
accompanied baby to marine parade cc at 9am to ball with his friends, lunched at tampines ikea and after shopping at giant megamart for snacks, it was down town to shop for my stuffs! for all the trips we've been looking for his things, this time it's for ME. ME. yes, yours truely;) i wanna get a new bagpack(cause my current one which belongs to kell is spoilt alr, all the zips) and birkenstock.
baby has different views from me.
yes i admit tt for just slippers, birkenstock is way expensive costing up to nearly a hundred. but it's that i wear slippers almost everywhere with almost all my outfits so shouldn't i get a better one rather than my usual havaianas? not that havaianas ain't good, but for 50bucks for rubber, another 50bucks for genuine leather from germany, isn't it a better choice? since my current slippers is getting thinner and thinner through the months, i needa decide soon. then again that sch is opening in less than a mth, i can wait till end of next yr to buy those birkenstocks and perm my hair! oh don't tell me about being a j2 nxt yr, argh.
i just cut my fringe and baby said i looked suaku.
yes, that auntie cut it above my brows. well, good thing tt hair grows out fast.maybe it isn't tt short but those around have been used to my longer fringe for some time, i need hair growing potion to the rescue! for now, i'm a fatty suaku ): SOBS.
trng ltr in ny, everyone's back, YAY! it's been pathetic having only 3 ppl for trngs. not alot more now, but at least twice the amount makes me happier! (((((:
days ahead till the new year has been much planned out.
to baby's house tmr in the noon to oversee the guy who's gonna install new modem(which means his mum and i only, oh my.), x'mas eve could be having lunch with mum then maybe meeting the girls or baby and xmas day, i'm spending it with baby! boxing day night at sweetie's hse for bbq i think(what baby told me) and sat there's trng from 1-4pm at pasir ris east cc. sunday's outing with kandy and bro and the next monday, it's trng again. may be free on tues to pack my room before the new year and baby agreed to help since he's having his bloc leave! wed would be new year's eve and i wanna spend it with mum, counting down before the clock tower at boat quay, maybe baby could come along too!
see, so maybe the next time i'd be blogging would be a new year! LOL.
